BTS Jin has taken part in the 2024 Paris Olympics torch relay. On the 14th (local time), Jin carried the torch from the Rue de Rivoli intersection in Paris, France to Place de la Carrousel. It is said that wherever he appeared, thousands of fans swarmed the place. Fans also cheered at his visual in the pure white official torch relay uniform.
On this day, Jin passed the torch to Sandra Lora, a former French national freestyle skiing team member, in front of the Louvre Museum’s pyramid. After finishing the torch relay, he gave a brief wave to the spectators gathered at the scene and also shared his thoughts through his agency.
Jin said, “I am honored to be able to participate in such a meaningful moment,” and added, “I hope that all the national team members who participated in the Olympics will achieve great results as much as they have worked hard, and I will cheer them on with all my heart.” By the way, the day Jin carried the torch was even more meaningful because it was Bastille Day in France. The torch relay that he participated in and became a hot topic of conversation started in Greece last April and is scheduled to continue until the 26th, the day of the Olympics.
