In other words, your blood sugar levels decrease when you stop eating food. Therefore, during the 12 to 24 hours after fasting, when your insulin levels drop sharply, fat burning is activated, and you lose weight.

However, after 24 hours, your basal metabolic rate drops to preserve muscle, so you will likely gain weight if you fast for more than 24 hours. I don’t recommend fasting for 48 hours unless you need to lose weight quickly. The 16:8 (fasting for 16 hours out of 24 hours and eating normally for 8 hours) intermittent fasting method is said to be the most effective, so please refer to it.

Fasting for 24 hours dulls a person’s behavior and makes them extremely sensitive. As mentioned above, I do not recommend it unless you’re trying to lose weight quickly. It’s impossible to live a good and normal life.

Despite that, I was proud of myself for working hard to survive the day. When I got home, I looked for a snack menu and what I would eat for lunch tomorrow. (Jerry’s inner thoughts on the second day: My vision is blurry. When will I get off work? I feel like I’m going to die.)

DAY – 3 Wed Feb 10

I felt an inner joy when I saw that the scale had reduced by nearly 1kg. (I didn’t have the strength to cheer.) I always conclude that when I diet, ‘You have to eat less to lose weight.’ When I got to work, I started thinking about what to eat for lunch. Since it was my first meal in about 54 hours, I wanted to eat something healthy and light. My seniors suggested hamburger steak for lunch. I couldn’t refuse. I wanted to put a lot of rice on the hamburger steak and fill my mouth, but my stomach was shrinking, so I couldn’t eat much. Fasting did have an effect.

Because you will be exhausted before you even start, and you may binge eat during the feeding period. I also couldn’t resist the lunch temptation of my seniors on the feeding day, and I felt the pleasure of eating snacks and chocolate throughout my work.
